More lists, more modeling, more texturing, more.. more.. more!

Lately I have been trying to narrow the scope of work down to see exactly what I will need in the end. The main parts of this short take place as Freddy roller blades down a busy Main Street with shops and cars and restaurants. The setting will be Hill Valley, and the only scene outside of Main Street will be in front of a park at the end of the street.

Main Street is going to need quite a large number of buildings and small shops. We are going for a small town feel which is a little different for me since I have grown up in Las Vegas. My director and I went to a small town about 30 minutes from us called Boulder City, and took several pictures of what we would like it to look like. Some of the ideas for the shops include:

Candy / Ice Cream shop
Family Style Restaurant
Toy Store
Hardware Store
Bakery
Rock Shop
Thrift Store
Toy Store
etc.

All of which I intent to fully model. I have aloted myself 3 more months to model so I should be okay but I will also be needing about 8 different Characters modeled and rigged. So I really have to be on the ball. I do however already have the Candy/Ice cream shop, and family style restaurant modeled and textured. I will post a picture soon.

Well, my director just got into American Film Institute as a Directing Fellow for 2009/2010 so she will be having to direct through emails and less hands on for a while but thats okay. I am very excited for her!
